People & titles

'Señor / señora / señorita' are the everyday Mr / Mrs / Miss. 'La gente' (the people) is singular in Spanish: 'la gente es amable'.

Feelings & descriptors

Watch the ser/estar split: 'es aburrido' = he's a boring person; 'está aburrido' = he's bored right now. Same trick with 'emocionado' and 'contento'.
